DataGPT for Google Sheets™ Terms of Service

Eligibility & accounts

• You must have a valid Google account and be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).

• Access may be limited by your organization's Workspace administrator. You are responsible for securing any required approvals.

Service access & updates

• The Service runs within Google Sheets™ and relies on OpenAI APIs. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

• Install the latest releases to maintain compatibility, security, and support.

Use of the Service

• You are responsible for the legality of content submitted through GPT formulas.

• Do not transmit harmful code, generate illegal content, or violate Google, OpenAI, or JTec policies.

• Respect usage limits including OpenAI rate limits—automated scraping or load testing is prohibited.

OpenAI & third-party services

• DataGPT for Google Sheets™ sends prompts, schemas, and configuration data to OpenAI to fulfill requests; OpenAI's terms and privacy policy apply.

• You must maintain an active OpenAI account and comply with their usage guidelines.

Fees

The add-on is currently offered without charge. You are responsible for any OpenAI fees or Google Workspace charges incurred by your usage.

Intellectual property

• JTec retains all rights to the Service, including code, trademarks, and branding.

• You retain ownership of your spreadsheet content but grant us the rights needed to process your requests.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Outputs may be inaccurate or unsuitable for your intended use.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JTec and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold JTec harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

Termination

• You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the add-on and revoking permissions.

• We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, abuse quotas, or jeopardize system security.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect product or legal updates. The revised Terms will be posted with an updated Effective Date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where JTec is incorporated. Disputes will be resolved in those courts unless otherwise required by law.
